I finally have had the time to do a little photo shoot with my best friend! It was definitely a lot of fun. My spring break is going well, now that my weird little sickness is finally gone, thank goodness! But I am dreading the pile of AP homework I still have to finish... Oh well. I have been a little busy and very sick this past week... Kind of sad since its only the first couple days of my Spring Break, but since the sickness is finally subsiding, I can finally enjoy it! But then... the bipolar weather of California decided to turn chilly and is threatening to rain. Even though I absolutely LOVE the rain, I need to spend some time at the beach. Now, enough of my whining complaints, I hope all of you are having a fabulous Spring Break and thanks for viewing!

Spring Break has begun!

Spring break has just begun for me and I am so thrilled that it has! Hopefully it will be memorable one, and what better way to start this lovely day off than with a poem about spring written by one of my favorite poets Emily Dickinson :)

I have a Bird in spring 
Which for myself doth sing -- 
The spring decoys. 
And as the summer nears -- 
And as the rose appears, 
Robin is gone

Yet I do not repine 
Knowing that Bird of mine
Though flown -- 
Learneth beyond the sea 
Melody new for me 
And will return.

Faster in a safer hand

New Music Love

The newest music love of mine is a wonderful band called Mumford & Sons. The band consists of four young men from West London: Marcus Mumford, Country Winston, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane. Their incredible love for music and beautiful harmonious voices have created an amazing album called Sigh No More. The alternative genre band has a folk, blue grass style sound that is absolutely to die for.

VERY exciting news! And the reason why I decided to post my love for Mumford & Sons, is because I will be going to a Mumford & Sons concert over the summer. It is such a huge privilege and I am ecstatic! I highly recommend their music to anyone and everyone.
